The practice of bookbinding has come a long way since the 2nd century when Egyptian monks sewed together sheets of papyrus and enclosed them between leather covered boards tied with thongs. Since then, the hand binding of books has become a specialist and decorative art. Our business has also progressed since it was founded in 1872, continuing to change and meet the distinctly different binding requirements of our customers.
